So you’ve made an awesome marketing video in Vid.One, but now what do you do with it?

With so many channels and marketing advice blogs out there, we understand that when it comes to actually sharing your new video, it can feel pretty overwhelming. That’s why we’ve narrowed it down to the top four ways to get the most out of your marketing video. These tactics will not only increase your video views, they’ll help increase your brand awareness, website traffic, and conversions.

TIP #1: Share your video on social media

Did you know that a Facebook video receives, on average, 135% more organic reach than a Facebook photo?! Video has higher engagement rates across all channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook), so if you want to increase your video views (and, ultimately, traffic to your site), you need to post your new Vid.One creation on social media.

Our built-in integrations make it super easy to automatically post your video on these sites. Once you create your custom video, you’ll see ‘Share’ buttons for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Buffer. Those buttons automatically turn your video into a post formatted for whichever channel you choose. See how our sharing integrations work HERE.

TIP #2: Share your video via email

Using the word ‘video’ in an email subject line boosts open rates by 19% (a pretty significant jump in the world of email marketing). Not to mention, when you including a video in your email can lead to a 200-300% increase in click-through rates. As video marketers, these stats are music to our ears.

So just how can you take advantage of email marketing opportunities with your new Vid.One video?

We offer direct integrations with some of the most popular email marketing platforms, including Campaign Monitor, MailChimp, Constant Contact, and Vertical Response. By ‘direct integrations’ we mean, once you create your video you just click the ‘Share’ button for your email provider, and our tool automatically pops that video into your email’s media library.

You can also easily create merge tags for 21 other email providers and CRM systems like Emma, Active Campaign, and Salesforce. Check out exactly how to do that HERE.

TIP #3: Repurpose your video

Repurposing content is one of the easiest ways to increase your online engagement. What we mean by this is taking an original piece of content and making slight tweaks to it over time (think: changing the message or image to fit a different need) so you can get even more out of it.

Repurposing Vid.One videos is really easy. Once you’ve created a video you love, simply make a ‘clone’ of it and then change the message, font, and/or logo upload so that same basic video can work for a new campaign. We’ve seen Vid.One users create custom videos for store sales, event announcements, or general business updates and just tweak the wording and colors so they can use the “same” video throughout the year.

TIP #4: Create a Facebook ad for video views
